Boss Now Offering TTR Maintenance Services

We’re excited to announce that with the acquisition of Stokes & Spiehler, Boss Energy Solutions now offers Top Tension Riser (TTR) Inspection and Maintenance services to our clients. This new capability enhances our offshore offerings, covering Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs) and Spars, Hydro/Pneumatic Riser Tensioner Systems, and Surface Wellheads.

Our expert engineering team reviews and analyzes all inspection reports to create tailored maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and extend the service life of TTR equipment in the field. These strategies are built around our clients’ operational needs and long-term performance goals.

Leading the TTR Maintenance Division is Patrick Perkins, a veteran in deepwater engineering with over 40 years of experience. Patrick brings a wealth of expertise from his previous roles at GE Oil & Gas and Shell. His deep knowledge spans top tension risers, surface and subsea wellheads, and both drilling and production systems.

Patrick has led or contributed to major offshore projects including:

• Exxon - Kizomba

• BP - Mad Dog

• Shell GOM - Perdido

• BP - Macondo Recovery

• Shell Malaysia - Malikai

• Repsol/PetroVietnam - Ca Rong Do

• Oxy - Holstein

He has been directly involved in numerous first-of-their-kind equipment designs and installations, making him a trusted authority in the field.
